*Canine Influenza has been reported again this
year in CT. This is a potentially fatal illness, especially for pups and
seniors. The vaccine is required to stay at the resort, for our daycare
clients, as well as our grooming clients. Your dog should be vaccinated
if they are around other dogs, such as at dog daycares, boarding, or dog
parks.
* There is an outbreak
of kennel cough in the Hartford/ West Hartford area. Please make sure your
dog is vaccinated for kennel cough especially if you bring your dog to
public places like dog parks & other pet friendly places.

EVENT
We are hosting a Pet Adoption
Event on Saturday March 31, 2012 from 11:00am - 3:00pm at the Resort. There
will be many dogs available to meet that are looking for their forever
home! Some of the rescue groups attending this event are- PAWS New England,
Protector's of Animals, L.A.B. Rescue, Sadie Mae Foundation, & Cathy's
Rottie Rescue.
This is always a fun
family event so please mark your calendar and bring the whole family down
to meet these great dogs!
Jonathan the UConn Huskies mascot has found the
resort! The UConn athletic club has officially named John Gagnon's Pet
Resort as the only place that they will board or groom Jonathan! They also
had Darcy install a pet fence for him and he LOVES his newfound freedom!
